Make a Difference

Boston MetroWest Strings (BMWS) is a small nonprofit based in Ashland, MA, created to address a simple problem: too many local children don’t have access to string music education. Ashland Public Schools currently do not have funding for a strings program—meaning many students miss the chance to discover music early, when confidence and foundational skills are built.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, create, and grow through music, regardless of background or circumstance.
